A vibrant designer week,
these are among my favorites
Fuori salone
Divine room by Barnaba Fornasetti
the forever young designer created
a blue Majorelle room filled with
iconic Fornasetti designs.
It proves that Fornasetti is one of the
World Treasures.
at Galleria Nilufar an Ali Baba Designer Cave in
Via della Spiga.
The Maison presented its first collection of Furnitures at la Pelota.
Antonio Citterio is one of the signatures behind the project.
more in via Sant'Andrea...
Chèz Baccart
Palazzo Morando
hosted a stunning exhibition of Chandelier and Lights
by the master of crystal: Baccart.
Incredible pieces in Limited Editions.
My favorite, so unique....by Philippe Starck.
I want it !
Cavalli via della Spiga
The beauty of the city is that all the fashion major houses
do something to celebrate the event too.
All the windows are decorated with some unique and refined pieces.
Milan makes a landmark
in Home Decor.
This editon of il Salone was quite,
more concentrated to the real players and
very organized.
Brava Milano !
last look ...BRILLIANT.....................
as a juxtaposition to the austerity and refinement of Milano
a very creative Company SELETTI
presented in my opinion the best idea of the week.
"Friday afternoon, Milan. The sun is out but it is a crispy day,
I am walking with my friend M.
close to the Giardini di Porta Venezia, an ultra chic area very close to Montenapoleone.
As I am talking with my girlfriend I see in the distance e typical Milanese
Vu-cumprà
aka a
street vendor usually associated with all sorts of copy bags and cheap stuff.
But hei !! wait a second, this is NOT cheap stuff....
my first reaction is:
wow, now they sell even home accessories
on a nice black and white blanket there are beautiful piece for the home decor.
A gold candelabra gets my full attention! I want it.
A cordial and smiley african american guy
hands me a SELETTI catalogue.
Sorry Laaady items are not for sale.
We all smile, this Company scored a perfect 10 !!
I later realized that the PR Agency behind it installed several
Traps around Milan....
here are a few... Bravi, bravissimi !
