been in front row of this elegant and classy collection.
Wes Gordon first runway show after a few seasons.
A wardrobe of easy to wear items, they can easly been displayed
in Bergdorf Goodman lavish windows.
They make the perfect canvas for a Lady who likes to
travel, wear expensive jewelry and add her touch of personality,
looking elegant without screamming a brand.

Last Call for Marc Jacobs at Louis Vuitton: instant collector items



ALL IN
for Marc Jacobs that finally annouced his retirement from
a 16yrs long collaboration at Louis Vuitton.
While he will go on and focus on his brand this last show was a tribute
to all the things most dear to him, in primis the bohemian parisian lifestyle,
I see the embrodery of Miuccia Prada, the glam of Coco Chanel,
Marchesa Luisa Casati, the art deco Ertè, but is the inuendo
of the Victorian blacks a sign ofhis sadness in departing from this house.
Lets face it Louis Vuitton had an incredible run with Mr. Jacob.
But all things come to an end.... a sad day in fashion business.

A visual tour of the lands of Bukara, Samarkanda and the Silk Road
fine fabrics, sophisticated embroderies and a touch of gold.
I loved the deep reds and the elegant details and the stunning
accessories, beginning with the pendant necklaces, the lovely sandals,
the fringed bags and the lace espadrillias with the gold charm.
Finally a modern take of an old theme without the risk of
looking like a movie wardrobe.
