| ALL IN for Marc Jacobs that finally annouced his retirement from a 16yrs long collaboration at Louis Vuitton. While he will go on and focus on his brand this last show was a tribute to all the things most dear to him, in primis the bohemian parisian lifestyle, I see the embrodery of Miuccia Prada, the glam of Coco Chanel, Marchesa Luisa Casati, the art deco Ertè, but is the inuendo of the Victorian blacks a sign ofhis sadness in departing from this house. Lets face it Louis Vuitton had an incredible run with Mr. Jacob. But all things come to an end.... a sad day in fashion business. |
